A hackathon hosted by Metal Magic FTC for kids to learn, innovate, code, and have fun!
What is a Hackathon?
A hackathon is an exciting, fast-paced event where participants collaborate to turn ideas into real projects in a short amount of time. Over the course of two days, you will learn new skills through hands-on workshops, work in teams, and build innovative solutions to real-world problems. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, it’s a chance to create, learn, and showcase your ideas in a supportive and energetic environment along with winning awards.

Code Crush Hackathon
The hackathon is a two day long event starting at 9:30 am on Saturday May 23rd to around 5:00 pm on Sunday May 24th. Students have all Saturday and until Sunday 2:00 pm to work on their project, which has to relate to a theme released Saturday morning.
The event entirely takes place at the Brambleton Library

9:30 am - 10:30 am
Meeting Room A
The hackathon will kick off at 9:30 AM with an Opening Ceremony, followed by essential Hackathon Info to get everyone oriented. Next, the highly anticipated Theme announcement will set the stage for innovation, leading into dedicated time for Team Brainstorming. Competitors can work in the library with their team and friends between meetings.
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Meeting Room A
Participants will have the opportunity to attend various workshops, including sessions on UI, Tinkercad, AI + Google Colab, Marketing, and even a Drive Robot Station. These workshops are designed to enhance skills and provide in-depth knowledge in key areas.
4:15pm
Meeting Room A
The hackathon will conclude at 4:15 PM with the highly anticipated Award Ceremony. During this time, the winning teams will be recognized and celebrated for their innovative projects. All competitors will receive certificates and prizes
